McCarthy Jr.], Since you do not have The Last Parade among your Freemaniana, may I give you this one? I'm sure that Dr. Freeman intended for you to have a copy. Mary Wells Ashworth July 1960." Also inscribed in her hand is: "This is one of five hundred copies only - printed for DSF's private use and not to be sold - and was given me by Mrs. Freeman after Dr. Freeman's death.
