D. in an oval; this copy contains two separate title pages, the second of which is engraved; both are dated 1787 (MDCCCLXXXVII); this is a large paper copy, with very wide margins; text in French; Very Good++; professionally rebound in gilt-lettered brown full-morocco leather; binding likely dates from late 19th or early 20th century; raised spine bands; gilt-tooling to board edges; elaborate gilt-tooling to dentelles around front and rear pastedown endpapers; marbled endpapers; top edge gilt; very minimal signs of shelf stress to extrems; extremely minor bowing to boards; slight sunning and fading to leather on rear board and spine; one very small circular black stain to front board; four small dings to front board, one.
